What about engines with a displacement of more than 5 litres?
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT HOW THE O2 POWER BOOSTER WORKS

How does the O2 Power Boost perform in
engines with a displacement of over 5000 cc?
The effect and performance depend on the amount of air supplied to or sucked into the engine and are independent of whether it is a naturally aspirated or turbocharged engine.
As a rule, one (1) O2 Power Booster is effective for engines with a displacement of up to 5 litres.
For engines with a displacement of more than 5 litres (up to 10 litres, for example), a second cylinder is required. The number of cylinders is therefore determined by the displacement in 5-litre increments. Commercial vehicles can usually have engines with a displacement of up to 16 litres or more, mostly as 6-cylinder, 8-cylinder or 10-cylinder V-type engines.
In the commercial vehicle sector in particular, it is therefore necessary to check how many air filter systems are installed in the vehicle. Accordingly, the installation and number of O2 Power Booster cylinders depend on the engine specifications of the vehicle in question.
As a general rule, if there is more than one air filter system, the number of O2 Power Booster cylinders installed must always be the same in both air filter systems, depending on the displacement.
Case study: A truck with a 16-litre displacement in V configuration, with two independent air filter systems and two cylinder rows in V configuration per row side, each with a displacement of 8 litres, requires two O2 Power Boosters per air filter housing, i.e. a total of four.
If the same engine is supplied by one air filter system, four O2 power boosters must also be used. Installation then takes place in one existing filter housing.
In any case, installation should always be carried out in such a way that the number of O2 Power Boosters and their positioning or mounting are as close to each other as possible.
Example: passenger cars:
up to 5 litres displacement and 1 air filter => 1 O2 Power Boost
more than 5 litres displacement and 1 air filter => 2 O2 Power Boosts
Example for commercial vehicles:
with 8 litre displacement and 1 air filter => 2 O2 Power Boost units
with 16 litre displacement, V-engine, 2 air filters => 2 + 2 O2 Power Boost units
