Where and how is the O2 booster installed?

Installation is always carried out in the air filter housing where the air filter is installed.

The mounting point is individual and vehicle-specific and is always located in front of the filter.

For safety reasons, installation behind the filter is not permitted.

This means that installation or attachment takes place inside the filter housing, where the outside air is drawn in by the engine, in the flow direction to the filter.

The O2 booster is attached to the air filter box with two cable ties.

The O2 Power Booster measures approx. 70 x 25 mm and weighs 130 g. The high-quality V2A cylinder is maintenance-free and has no influence on the vehicle software or the manufacturer's general engine function.

No electrical cables need to be laid.

No intervention in the engine control system is required.
